CANDLE CARE

EVERY TIME YOU BURN YOUR CANDLE

Please trim your wick to about 1/4 inch tall.

This keeps it from burning too hot and reduces smoking.

THE FIRST TIME YOU LIGHT YOUR CANDLE

Trim your wick before the first burn, I leave them long so that they aren't affected by expanding and contracting.

Please let it burn until the wax pools all the way to the edge of the jar.

This may take approximately 3 hours.

This ensures that it won't tunnel down and your candle will have a longer happier life.

PLEASE DON'T BURN YOUR CANDLE FOR MORE THAN 3-4 HOURS AT A TIME.

Not only will it be very hot, the deeper you let the burn pool get, the more fragrance is burned out of it. Which means that once it hardens and you light it again, you may have less or no fragrance left in that section.

MAKE SURE YOUR CANDLE IS SITTING ON SOMETHING HEAT RESISTANT.

The candles do get hot, please be sure they are kept on a flat surface, and one that won't allow any burning or scorching underneath.

STOP BURNING YOUR CANDLE WHEN THERE IS ABOUT 1/2 AN INCH OF WAX IN THE BOTTOM

This is so that it doesn't burn anything or get the bottom of the jar too hot. Always put your candle on something that won't burn and is not flammable.

If you are concerned about wastage, you can scoop it out and put it in a wax warmer.

NEVER PLACE YOUR CANDLE NEAR A DRAFT OR A FAN

This can cause the flame to be unsafe and your candle to burn unevenly

which will reduce its burn time.

NEVER LEAVE YOUR CANDLE UNATTENDED OR WITHIN REACH OF

KIDS, PETS OR ANY FLAMMABLE ITEMS!

The jar may get hot! Careful!
