Scent strength varies by fragrance, some naturally throw further than others. Each product listing includes a scent strength rating based on how it performs in my home. Every nose is different and every home is different, so treat it as a guide rather than a guarantee. A single candle will fill a small to medium room. For a whole house, a few candles or wax melts in warmers around the space work well.

Around 35+ hours for a standard candle, based on burning in sessions of 3 to 4 hours at a time. Burn longer sessions and that number will be shorter.

Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before every burn. On the first burn, let the wax pool reach as close to the edges of the jar as possible before extinguishing. This may take a few burns to achieve fully, but never burn for less than 2 hours or it will start to tunnel. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. The deeper the burn pool, the more fragrance is consumed from that section of wax, which means less scent when you light it again. Keep away from drafts and fans. These cause uneven burning and reduce burn time. Keep away from children, pets, and anything flammable. Always place on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Stop burning when about 1cm of wax remains. If you want to use the last of the wax, scoop it out and use it in a wax warmer or wax warmer lamp.
