Two Scents From a Theme Park I Love

I have loved Disney since I was a kid. Haunted Mansion most, then Pirates of the Caribbean right behind it.

A fragrance house spent years fielding the same request before they finally made it: the actual smell of the Pirates ride water. They treats that water with bromine instead of chlorine, and it does smell a bit like a swimming pool, just with something else underneath it, smoky, the cannon battle scene caught in the same air as the spray. I bought a bottle the week it released.

While I was nostalgia-ing, I figured I'd try another one of the Disney classics. Jungle Cruise. That ride opened in 1955, one of the rides Walt actually rode himself on opening day. I bought a small bottle of that one too.

Neither of these sound like the rest of Lunahrin. Prairie light and birch forest and woodsmoke is the world I built here, and theme park bromine water probably doesn't belong in it on paper.

I'm bringing both to Elkwater anyway. Small batch, very limited...
